I got two of these for monitor lights whose counterweights were too finicky for my thin monitors. This works great and feels very durable. So far I haven't had any issues with it keeping my lights in place. I also like how I can slide it from the middle to the side to make room for the occasional webcam without worrying that I've messed with its ability to keep my lights up. Would definitely recommend
