I thought the lense was clear or at least molded. It's just a decal over a strip of black. I bought the LED insert for this bar which just double side tapes to the decal. Could of been better. With some modifying I made a clear lense and recessed the LED element into the housing yet the green circuit board doesn't look that attractive. Still better the most options available today.
